Nyssa is so sweet! I love how she is going to loan it back to her mom.

The way you have Isis posed certainly makes her look very "expectant" as the Victorians might have put it.

Thanks! I was trying to figure out a way to explain why the new baby is wearing the clothes my BID's dolls have been wearing for years.

However, Nyssa doesn't know she's not getting it back, since the new baby isn't going to be 'growing'

In those days women didn't have 'maternity clothes', but just wore their regular clothes loose. I didn't feel like making her a 'bump', so just made a lace drape to suggest it. That's basically all there is - the lace cover, and an open jacket. The rest is in the posing.

How thoughtful of Nyssa, although her poor baby doll might not agree (laugh).

I want to say again how much I love the setting. The details are marvelous. I love the accessories on the mantle.

I'm sure she'll find something else for her baby to wear.

I try to be as consistent as possible with my 'rooms', checking past photos to make sure the accessories get placed where they should be.
