It was an interesting day weather-wise the day Rex and Bianca arrived at the Fortress Louisbourg. Big storm clouds, with spotty sun, and even the occasional downpour.....and lots of wind...

Love these so much! You are the Queen of Photography! Your forced perspective is flawless! And, of course, I totally love your dolls and their outfits. Such beautiful work, Martha! A treat for the eyes!

Thank you Jay! I was happy with most of the photos from Louisbourg (lots more coming) Thankfully the fortress wasn't very busy that day, so most of the time I didn't have any problems taking doll photos.

Another enchanting photo session! Love the background / location details as much as your lovely couple.

Thanks! The fort was the perfect place to photograph my couple. It was great there weren't many people, but when there were some, I just held the doll(s) up to block them out of the background.

The weather added a different sense of drama to the photos. Blustery weather can be handy when it keeps the number of visitors down.
