The children were busy making more paper chains for their tree, but when Baron and Naomi arrived, they ran to greet him.... "Uncle Baron!!" He wasn't really their 'uncle' but they called him that out of love and respect... Naomi was touched by how much the children loved him, and how good he was with them... But Ringo was feeling a bit shy about the strange lady that had arrived with his uncle.... Prince David approached Naomi..... "May I take your cloak Miss?" "Thank you, Your Highness." "Please...." "...just call me David." Naomi had brought a gift for the children... ...and she knew just who to give it to.... "This is for you, and your brother and sisters..."

This is a good start for "almost" Aunt Naomi. I can tell that the children will fall in love with her. She is already smitten with them.

Yes, I'm sure Naomi has nothing to worry about. I figured that the children would be too excited to see their 'uncle', and wouldn't wait for the formal introductions. I figured it would be a good 'ice-breaker' for her as well.

This is a lovely start to the next part of Baron and Naomi's story. To have the royal children behaving just like ordinary children in their response to Baron and Naomi is a really nice touch. I love David saying "Please ... just call me David" .

Thank you. This is my ideal, imaginary world where people are polite and get excited about the little things, like a favourite relative or friend coming for a visit. It's also nice that there's so many children, as it opens up all kinds of fun story ideas that wouldn't be possible if there were just lovely adults visiting with each other.

I've always felt that my dolls needed families and friends. I am so sentimental I find it hard to own just one of any particular doll brand or scale...I always need at least two to feel I've done thing properly if I can manage it. Having male dolls or child dolls along with the female fashion dolls just seems the way it should be for me, and it hasn't mattered what doll I was collecting over 35 years--Barbie, Tyler, Cissy, or BJDs. :)
