Yesterday the girls had a great time enjoying Thanksgiving with their Grandfather.... The turkey was cooked to perfection.... Layla had made the stuffing.... Everything looked delicious.... ...and the new girl felt very welcome.... "Who would like some turkey??" "Me, I do!!", as Hope held out her plate... Cinnamon made sure she had plenty of catsup for hers.... It was the best Thanksgiving the girls had ever had...
My Wizard, who moonlights as Santa, is also everyone's Grandfather, and this year he decided to have all his KW granddaughters over for Thanksgiving. He had been busy in the kitchen all day, with Hope and Layla, and it was time to set the table... Layla laid out the plates.... While Talyssa arranged the centrepiece... Missy placed the candles, and Cinnamon was in charge of the condiments...
Last week we took a little drive up north hoping to see some fall colours. I took along my little Kaye Wiggs girls hoping there would be some photo opportunities. But the only time they came out of the car was to have a picnic in a park in Gravenhurst....
....where a little black bear came to join them I'd been watching this little cutie for months on one of the doll forums, and finally gave into temptation and bought her. She's Raillie Elf, by Kaye Wiggs, basically a modified Tillie with bigger elf ears. I've really been enjoying my small Kaye Wiggs dolls recently, and thought she'd make a great addition to my gang. It was extra nice that the seller lived just over an hour's drive away, so we went this morning to pick her up. Nothing like immediate gratification! So, I glued a loose eyelash, changed her eyes to a size smaller, put on the outfit I made yesterday, and tried on some wigs from the small stash her size. At the moment I like this one best.... She's only been here for a few hours, and has already been invited for Thanksgiving dinner....
