More photos playing with the sunshine coming in through the window. This time with Paige and Lisa. The first photo taken earlier in the day before the sun started to shine in... Then with the sun streaming in.... These were taken before the table was moved closer into the bay window, so the drapes and dining room window frame showed up through the girl's window. I didn't mind too much since I could pass it off as being part of the castle exterior wall, but the next photo had the boxes in the corner of the room show up..... So the table was pushed closer to the bay window, and just the evergreen outside showed through both windows. I also removed the candles behind them, since they were a tension point sticking up through their heads... Looking out the window for something, in the morning again, before the sun came through.... Who are they watching? A handsome young gardener maybe?
The very first fairy.... Ryung in the very first fairy costume I made for her. It was inspired by a painting by Linda Ravenscroft, and it led to a whole series of other fairy outfits in a wide range of colours.
The other day I caught Talyssa, sitting in the sunlight as it streamed through the window... ....reading to her teddies....
With night temperatures going down into the single digits, my garden's days are numbered. This also happens to be just when everything is at it's most beautiful, so I take lots of photos...
I'm back to shooting the next instalment of my White Cat story, so her castle interior is currently set up on my dining room table. The table has been pushed towards the actual bay window in order to take advantage of the natural light coming in. It makes for such a nice setting, that I've been taking photos of other dolls there as well. I decided Rosie deserved to be something more than a 'servant', so dressed her in Bianca's original mauve gown. I'm still having trouble deciding on a wig, since Grace ran off with the red one that Rosie looked best with. So I tried a blonde one first....in the sunshine... Okay, so I thought maybe blonde wasn't her colour after all, and gave her back the light brown one. Plus the window drapes were showing too much through the castle window, and I could explain them away by saying they were part of the castle exterior showing through the window, but I wanted to get rid of it, so Jan pushed the table even closer to the window.... And took some more photos of Rosie, with light brown hair, and without the sun coming in....
