I decided Rosie deserved to be something more than a 'servant', so dressed her in Bianca's original mauve gown. I'm still having trouble deciding on a wig, since Grace ran off with the red one that Rosie looked best with. So I tried a blonde one first....in the sunshine...
I'm back to shooting the next instalment of my White Cat story, so her castle interior is currently set up on my dining room table. The table has been pushed towards the actual bay window in order to take advantage of the natural light coming in. It makes for such a nice setting, that I've been taking photos of other dolls there as well. I decided Rosie deserved to be something more than a 'servant', so dressed her in Bianca's original mauve gown. I'm still having trouble deciding on a wig, since Grace ran off with the red one that Rosie looked best with. So I tried a blonde one first....in the sunshine... Okay, so I thought maybe blonde wasn't her colour after all, and gave her back the light brown one. Plus the window drapes were showing too much through the castle window, and I could explain them away by saying they were part of the castle exterior showing through the window, but I wanted to get rid of it, so Jan pushed the table even closer to the window.... And took some more photos of Rosie, with light brown hair, and without the sun coming in....

She makes a lovely aristocrat and the lighting is perfect to show how beautiful she is.

Here's vote # 3 for the light brown wig. The blond makes a nice change but it's really not her color. It's nice to see her as a princess in her own right. The room setting frames her perfectly and the lighting is soft and rich.

Yes, she spent a long time as a maid to my Medieval group, and I thought she deserved better. Comments are closed.
