I can't believe it's already April, and since April is officially 'Emotional Overeating' month, I just had to share this photo from two years ago. I can so relate to poor Isis. I'm so tired these days, and in so much pain. But unlike her, I'm not allowed to 'emotionally overeat', unless it's with vegetables, and somehow carrot sticks and radishes just won't do the job. But I can look at what's all in front of her, and dream.....
Saturday morning the girls came over, and Rachel brought a bag full of her favourite stuffies. She wanted to take a picture with them, so we set up a little party scene.... Sunday we went to visit our daughter to help celebrate the joint birthdays of our youngest granddaughter, and eldest grandson. All the rain from Saturday had switched to freezing rain, and then snow overnight, so it was a 400 kilometre trip through a magical winter wonderland, with snow covering every single surface; every tree, every branch, every weed, and even the wire fences. Thankfully the road was clear. I just wish it had been possible to take photos, but one can't just pull over on Canada's busiest highway. When we arrived, the boys were busy inflating the biggest balloon that I've ever seen.... Emily was resting with her new Puppy.... Then out came the new snap-together beads.... ...and everyone had to make something..... Decorating Daddy.... ...and two brothers.... Then it was time for the cakes........first Emily's two little princess cakes.... She immediately started picking off all the little edible 'pearls', and eating them.... Brady and his cake. It was made of ice cream, so the cake pops started falling over.... Waiting for a piece of cake.... "Yummmmm....."
