Apple Pie

Yesterday was "National Pie Day", and Hope and Layla baked a delicious apple pie.

I'm hoping pain levels will settle down this week so I can get back to my sewing. I would love the commission I'm working on, to be finished as soon as possible, so I can take the rest of December to finally work on a gown for Asa and something for Owen - and to take Holiday photos! I had all kinds of plans for special Christmas party dresses fro Kaye Wiggs girls, and even bought some beautiful new fabrics, but I don't think I'll be able to squeeze them in anymore. However, fancy party dresses are good any time of year, and not just at Christmas, so I'm not going to stress over them. I'll get to them when I do.

I was planning on some velvet and taffeta dresses much like last year, but in magenta, blue and purple, with velvet bodices. I have some beautiful embroidered & sequined fabrics that would look amazing in that style with a dark velvet top. But time just gets away from me.

I've had that fork and spoon (just one of each) for many years. Not sure where they came from. I found several sets of vintage glass doll dishes at a Doll Show back in September. I posted a photo back then of everything.

Sending you some Anti-Pain Good Vibe Thoughts. Being a sufferer of arthritis and having had bouts with carpal, I know what you mean. Take care of yourself.

And as always, the dresses are stunning.

All that pie needs to be complete is a certain number written on it...

Feeling ill stinks. I hope it goes away and stays gone a long time.
