I'm taking photos for Mason, to help promote his swords, and I love how this photo turned out.
Kyle choses his sword, a miniature version of 'Anduril', sword of the King, from Lord of the Rings. The sword is 28 cm (11") long, and was forged from a large nail by Mason Leggee of Ravenrook Forge. The two smallest swords are versions of 'Sting', also from LOTR. The second one on the chest is a miniature version of Thoran Oakenshield's sword from 'the Hobbit'. All are forged from nails.

Thanks! But some of it it just chance sometimes - like the lighting in this picture. I was patiently waiting for the sun to go behind a cloud, but got fed up sitting on the floor waiting, so just took the picture when the sun was somewhat filtered.

I think you must be a Lord of the Rings fan!

I did like some parts of the LOTR movies - like the story, the characters, the costumes, the settings, the movie magic - but I'm not a fan of the Orks, the violence, and the non-stop battles. And I really don't like Gollum. But at least the violence wasn't too graphic. It could have been a lot worse.

Oh I am not into the films at all really except for the costumes.

Kyle chose very well, the sword is amazing. I can't imagine, something like that can be made from a nail. Comments are closed.
