We just got home from a week away on a little road trip up north. No computers, no internet, no electricity, just a phone without any media packages, up in the wilderness checking out the fall colours up north.... ....up in the Canadian Shield surrounded by nature; lakes, rocks, and trees.... It was nice, although cold, with temperatures hovering just above freezing at night. But that's what the trees need in order to turn colour... I brought along two sets of dolls in hopes of photographing them along the way. I wanted a realistic couple I'd never taken anywhere before. So I settled on Eden and Yvette. Neither has had much attention since they arrived, always playing background characters in other doll's stories. So this time it would just be the two of them....and their dog.... Then there was the second set of dolls, the Avery twins and the family of dragons. Ever since I tried taking the 'hot air balloon' photos earlier this month, I thought it would be fun for the twins to go on a balloon adventure with the dragons. I made some improvements to the basket, and the way that the balloon was attached, and off they went... I took over four hundred photos, so it's going to take some time to process them all. Plus there's a ton of clean up work to do after our trip, so not a lot of photo processing time right now. But I'll get to it eventually, so stay tuned for both stories....

Glad to hear you got back safely and had a good time. Such wonderful fall foliage you got to see and I look forward to the photo stories, especially the ones with Eden and Yvette. Eden is one of my favorite doll sculpts.

Thank you. The fall foliage wasn't anywhere near as vibrant as in previous years. Probably due to the weird summer weather we've had.

Too too cute!!! Love your adventures. And I miss fall leaves, being from Wisconsin originally. :-( Don't get to experience them at all anymore
