Wonderful. As a child I was traumatized by tv and horror movie dolls. I disliked dolls. But your dolls, their characters and stories have eased my fears. They are so beautiful and the stories heartwarming. I so look forward to the next segment of the stories and hope you never stop doing this!

I hear you about creepy horror movie dolls. Even many antique porcelain and baby dolls. I was always more into 'adult' dolls that I could make beautiful costumes for.

I'm happy that you enjoy my dolls and stories. I love photographing my dolls, and enjoy coming up with stories with them. There's enough ugliness and drama in the real world, so who needs it here?

I like the term 'heartwarming'. That's what I'm after. I do hope to continue doing this for a while yet. I still have so many ideas. It's just that everything takes time, and some things take a very long time. like this current story, which I started taking photos for back in the beginning of June. I've never had a story take on a mind of it's own like this one, and there's been some amazing photos. The excitement of taking a great photo, makes me want to continue and take even more.

Naomi's story is a touching as Baron's.

My favorite photo is the one of her reading to the bears.

She is adorable both as Alice and the little princess.

I love the effect of the light shining through the window.

It was fun to illustrate Naomi's childlike imagination, even though they all needed completely new sets and costumes, each for just one photo.

I find that that window is very effective when the table with the set is pushed into the dining room bay window and the sun outside shines in right into my doll scene. Now that it's fall, and the sun is already so much lower in the sky, it shines in a lot sooner.
