Ambushed!!

The attack came out of nowhere! Baron, Rex, and Fenwick had just left a small village, and were headed through a wooded area, when they were ambushed by a group of mercenaries. Baron bore the brunt of their attack, and as suddenly as they had appeared they were gone, leaving Baron lying mortally wounded, bleeding in the snow...

Rex held his friend as he started to lose consciousness...

"He looks really bad."

He's going to bleed out right here in the snow if we don't get him some help...fast..."

"You stay here with him..."

"...and I'll go for help."

"Make it fast..."

"I don't think he has a lot of time..."

Baron tried to speak...

"If... I don't make it....."

"Don't talk like that..... you're going to be okay.

"If....I don't make it....promise..."

"....promise me....that you'll look.........look after Naomi.....and the baby...."

Baron started to drift into unconsciousness....

"You have to stay awake! Look at me! Help is coming! Stay with me!"

"Tell.....Naomi...."

"No......you can tell her yourself...."

"Tell.....Naomi....I love her...." and he passed out.

I like what you did with Baron's faceup. I imagine this story arc will explain why he'll look different (new faceup) in the future?

Thanks. Yes it will. I was so disappointed by what Iplehouse had done to him, that I needed some kind of story to explain why he wouldn't look the same in the future. So, I took out my pastels and watercolour pencil crayons and tried to make him look more like he did before, along with all his injuries.

I sent him off to the US yesterday to have him redone, properly this time, and hopefully he will come back looking more or less like his old handsome self.

Naomi and Miho were right in their fears for Baron!

Being severely wounded in an ambush is a good way to explain Baron's change in appearance. It will be interesting to see what he looks like once her recovers.

Oh no! This is heartbreaking 💔. Please tell me this story line was not an excuse to give him a new face up. LOL

Actually it is the other way round. He needed a new faceup, so I came up with this storyline to bridge the time until he gets one.
