Agnes and Matias

Introducing my newest couple.
Matias, who is Dominic's son, and Baron's younger half brother, is in love with Elf Agnes, the Elf King's daughter. He is currently borrowing Rex's knight costume, and is still patiently waiting for me to make him an outfit of his own.

These photos were taken right after I'd finished Agnes' dress, and even though they were beautiful, the loose shoulders were really bugging me. So I decided to rework them. I removed all the beading, then stitched a strong thread under the neck opening, pulling it tighter to help shrink it in some. Then I redid all the beading. The bodice lies nice and flat across her shoulder now...

Which meant taking some new photos of her with Matias, who had changed into Jude's dress uniform under Rex's surcoat. And I'd worked some hair gel into his wig to help tame it some.

A very lovely couple. Matias has a handsome, exotic look. Agnes has a delicate face. I like that he is a head taller than she is.

Thank you. The SJ men are considerably taller than their Iplehouse counterparts, even though their ladies are the same height.

Thank you. No, her wig is from SartoriaJ. I ordered it when I ordered her. I really like this wig, although it could use some hair in front of her ears. But it doesn't bother me enough to actually make her a new wig.

I'm also looking forward to his meeting with his half-brother. That will be very interesting.

I'm not going to do a lot of long stories anymore, just some shorter little episodes that continue on with their basic storylines. So we'll see what happens.

They make a great couple. Kudos to you for taking that time to fix her dress especially since it took so much work to redo! BTW, did you know that there is a book called The King of Elfland's Daughter by Lord Dunsany? One of my favorites.

They make a great couple! Redoing the neckline must have been a lot of work, but it helped elevate her look.
