A Vindictive Curse

"So, did you ever find out what happened and caused all this?"
Picture
"Yes, we did."
Picture
"It was set in motion by a dying fairy queen...."
Picture
"As you know, fairies live a very long time, but they are not immortal. They are also pretty easy going for the most part, letting everyone do whatever they like.  But there are some rules."
Picture
"Any evil spells must come with some kind of escape clause, otherwise there would be dire consequences. Over the years sorceresses became more and more creative with trying to come up with almost impossible ways to reverse their spells, but the humans involved still always managed to break them."
Picture
"Well, this one very powerful old Fairy Queen really resented having all hers, and everyone else's, evil spells overcome, so she decided to have the last word, and create an even stronger curse to bring back everyone's evil spells. And this time with no escape clause. It would all be set in motion at the moment of her death...."
Picture
"....using up every last fibre of her remaining life force...."
Picture
" when it would be impossible for the Fairy Court to punish her. "
Picture
"So at the very moment of her death..."
Picture
"....every evil spell was suddenly reinstated..... and with no escape clause this time."
Picture
"Well, that explains why my entire court and I transformed into cats again, but what about Adrian here?"
Picture
"That's right! I wasn't affected by the original curse."
Picture
"Who is to say?  Prince Phillip and his daughters weren't affected even though you were. Magic can be a funny thing."
Picture
"Hopefully the potion we administer this evening will set things straight."

You are such a great story teller! There are intriguing elements unfolding with each episode. I feel like a child being read a fairy story, a chapter each night., and anxious to hear what happens next.

It is easy to see why it has taken so much of your time to bring the story to life. There is so much detail to be attended to. It's wonderful.

Thank you! I appreciate that! I'm so glad you are enjoying it.

When I started this project two years ago I really hadn't figured out the entire storyline yet, and that's what delayed me. Then when I got back into it at the beginning of this year it started to take on a life of its own. I honestly think those are some of the best photos I've taken. The cats are so photogenic, and it's nice to give them the camera time they never had years ago.

Only problem is it's been taking up so much of my time that there's little inspiration left for much else. Well, other than making costumes for other stories that are planned down the road. I'm looking forward to finishing taking the scenes for the end of the story so I can finally get back to other things.
