All the children had received a balloon, except for one shy girl who had been standing by herself in the background.

"This is my niece Lisa. She is staying with us right now."

"Her mother is hoping that we can find a position for her here at court."

"I'm so pleased to meet you Lisa."

"Would you like a balloon?"

"Yes. Thank you my Lady."

Naomi's heart went out to the girl...

..as she knew only too well what it was like to suddenly find herself in a strange, unfamiliar place.

I see a friendship beginning. How wonderful!

Is this a new Lisa or has she been transformed? I thought I remembered her with blond hair and blue eyes. I might be confused though (laugh).

No, this is a new-to-me Lisa. I bought her at the Cambridge Doll Show last October. She is the old translucent Peach/Gold resin with the Addiction makeup.

I do have another Lisa, who is Special Real Skin with dark brown hair. That one is Iris and Steve's daughter, and they all time travel from modern to Victorian times on occasion.

Your new Lisa is very pretty. Naomi is the perfect one to take Lisa under her wing and make her feel welcome. Perhaps she will invite her to come spend some time with her since she is alone too with Baron away on patrol.
