Earlier this week a new little girl arrived. She's a Mini Fair Layla by Kaye Wiggs. I'd been keeping my eyes open for one for a while, since I've been wanting to replace my two MSD size Laylas with the Mini versions, which I like so much better. This little cutie was enhanced by Kaye Wiggs herself, who added the freckles. I was lucky I still had one spare Mini sized outfit for her to wear, but couldn't find a wig her size that I liked, since most of the 5/6 wigs were purchased for my Fashion sized dolls, so not exactly a style for a little girl. So I ended up sewing a big dart in the back of a 6/7 mohair wig instead. And with her sister, Mini Layla Elf. Obviously one of them will need a new name. I'm not sure if she will stay a redhead, as she also looked great as a blonde, but she's going to be a redhead for now. She's just a little sad that she missed going on our recent camping trip. So now I can get ready to re-home their larger counterparts, as well as two of my other bigger girls. I have no excuses anymore.

New Layla is very pretty. I love the freckles. She is so sweet with red hair. The outfit is perfect for her.

She was lucky I still had an unclaimed outfit, as I really don't have time to make her anything new right now.

She really is a sweet little girl. It's easy to see why you like this size, especially since they can join all your other small dolls for photos. I've lost count of how many BIDs and Kaye Wiggs tinies you have, but know there are enough of them to have quite a party!

Yes, I love the smaller dolls. I think there would be way too many if I put them all together. I have 19 BIDs, 9 KIDs, and 9 small Kaye Wiggs girls. I think they will just party separately.

Oh my goodness, you have 19 BIDs. That is wonderful! I hope one day you will do a story with them but I know they are probably all in costumes from different eras.

Just four of the BIDs and four of the KIDs are in Medieval Fantasy costumes as children to my Fashion sized dolls. All the rest are contemporary. Of those seven BIDs and five KIDs belong to specific families, while the rest are 'orphans'.

The only time I've used most of my small Iple and KW dolls together was when I shot the Pied Piper photos last fall. There were thirty children in those photos. Still missing eight, but that was more than enough to deal with. Comments are closed.
