The sun was already high in the sky by the time Naomi woke up....

But she was alone...

Baron had gone...
Picture
So she went downstairs to look for him....
Picture
"Good morning!  I hope you slept well.
Won't you join me for a little breakfast?"
Picture
"Good morning.  Yes, I slept rather well..... thank you."
Picture
"If you don't mind my asking, it this what breakfast looks like here every morning?"
Picture
"Heavens no!  The kitchen staff heard that Baron was back, and that he had a very special young lady with him...."
Picture
"I think they wanted to impress you....and went a little overboard..."
Picture
"So, please take a seat and try a little."
Picture
"Yes, thank you.  I will.    Have you seen Baron?

The two women have much to say to each other. I am glad I will get to listen.

Look at that table spread! I too look forward to the ladies conversation. And if I may ask, where did you get their drinking goblets? I would love some of those.

It's handy having so much 'food' to choose from, but I don't have any 'breakfast food' other than some modern boxes of sweetened cereal, which would not have been appropriate.

The goblets were a gift from a friend. I think they are place card holders since they have two slits in them - on opposite sides - which I try hide in photos.

It is really interesting how when Miho wears her long straight wig she looks like a young woman in the photos with Baron as a boy, then when she wears her two coloured mohair wig she looks like and older, more mature woman.

I was never quite sure what I thought of Miho when she was a modern woman, but now in her Medieval role I think she's marvelous!

I totally agree. Miho never really fit in anywhere before, other than as a Fairy Queen in her green gown with Winston and my Kaye Wiggs fairies. It's interesting that it took just four years to make her something that suited her 'personality' so she'd fit in with the others. I don't know what inspired me to make her be Baron's mother, but I love her in that role, as an older woman.
