A while back I wanted to photograph alley little Kaye Wiggs girls as fairies, but I didn't have enough costumes their size. I let one of the Mini girls borrow a KID fairy costume, which wasn't too bad if I overlapped the back and pinned it. But the tiny KW girls would not fit into a BID fairy costume, even if I overlapped the back.
So I decided to make three new fairy outfits so all the girls would have one that fit properly. I chose colours that were different from the ones I already had....mint, pink, and yellow....

The dresses came together rather quickly, but the wings took more effort. I spent the last three days adding all the glitter, and carefully varnishing over it, so it would be nice and secure, and would not keep leaving trails of glitter everywhere. Then the top and bottom sections needed to be attached together with velcro to snap onto the backs of the fairy bodices....
I finished the three new fairy outfits today....for Lenny, Raillie, and Hope...
So now I have a Fairy Rainbow....
