The last two Renaissance gowns are finally finished, so it meant another photo session at the Ruins Gardens. It's nice they are so close, because it's the perfect setting for fantasy & historical dolls.

My front garden was full of crocuses this morning! I don't know where they all came from so suddenly - there were only a couple of tufts of leaves showing. So out I went with my camera, and some little mice who wanted to see the flowers for themselves.....
Last night we took a tiny detour into the 'country' for some pussy willow photos, on our way to go shopping. For a bit of extra spring colour, I made a tiny bouquet with the two single narcissus flowers that finally resulted from some bulbs I received for Christmas. I waited three whole months for the bulbs to send up some flowers, and when they finally did, there were just two stems, each with a single flower. But they were just the right size for my dolls, so I picked them for a photo. I figured I waited so long for them, they might as well make themselves useful.......
Yesterday Jan left work a little early so we could go to the Guild Inn Ruins Gardens for a photo session with my two Renaissance girls. The place was quite soggy and muddy, and I got soaking wet feet, so I was only able to pose my girls on the higher, drier ruins... Now I need to take their studio shots, and then I can try the next two ensembles on them.....and when the last of those is done, go to the Ruins Gardens again.... Then I'll make an album with all the photos.
