*Note - 'Pattern' pieces include seam allowances, while 'Templates' do not. They are meant to be traced onto the wrong side of the fabric and become the stitching lines.
Instruction Notes
1. I made the top out of a stretch fabric, so had to divide the bodice template along the shoulders to create a Front and Back. I am not fond of working with stretch fabrics, so traced the bodice templates onto iron-on interfacing, which I ironed onto the back of the stretchy fabric. That kept the bodice from stretching out of shape.
2. Sew the darts and shoulder seams first. Prepare the sleeves, then baste them into the arm holes. Then machine stitch. Then sew sleeve and underarm seams, zig zagging all seams as you go.
3. I did not add any seam allowance to the front and neck opening, as I was going to add a binding. So if you did add it, cut it off. I used a pink crinkle gauze for the underskirt and bodice edge binding. I cut a strip one inch wide and sewed it on the right side 1/4" from the edge. The crinkle gauze stretched sufficiently to go around the curves. Then I folded the strip to the inside and hand stitched it into place. Then I attached the skirts, which had already been hemmed around all three edges....

4. I made the hat out of cardboard covered with ultra suede. I had made it previously covered with fabric and then it fit my Iplehouse guys with their hard cap wigs, but when covered with ultra suede the hat turned out smaller on the inside and would only fit Naomi's head when she wore her 5/6 Monique wig.
5. The shawl is made from a triangle (11" on each side) cut from a fine scarf. After hemming it with a fine rolled hem, I added fringe
5. SartoriaJ 45APH ladies have very wide hips, much bigger than most other Fashion sized ladies, so if you are making the leggings for one of the slimmer dolls, you may have to take in the legging pattern at the top.
