The continuing story of Baron and Naomi, after she decides to stay with him in his world....
A Letter
Monday morning when the girls arrived at work, Narae spotted an envelope.
"I wonder who it's from."
"I wonder who it's from."
"It's from Naomi...."
"She says her date on Saturday night was wonderful, but then her boyfriend was suddenly called back home, and she decided to go with him. She says she doesn't know when she'll be back, but in the meantime she's leaving the shop in our capable hands."
"Wow, she must really be in love with this guy!"
Back Again
Baron and Naomi had come back to the future to tie up loose ends. They needed to terminate the leases on their apartments, and pack up any personal items they wanted to keep, as well as address some other important business. Almost everything had been taken care of, and they were at Baron's apartment that evening.
"The lawyer's papers are all signed."
"The lawyer's papers are all signed."
"We can go deliver them tomorrow."
"Sounds like a plan.
You know, when we go back home, I'm really going to miss pizza...."

"That won't be a problem. It's not that hard to make."
"But yes, no more take out. We'll have to make everything from scratch ourselves."
After dinner they planned the short trip they were going to take...
"That looks like an interesting route. It will probably be beautiful up there this time of year."
"Well, it looks like we are all set....."
"Tomorrow is going to be a busy day."
"An emotional one too, I think..."
Back at the Shop
"It's so good to see you!!"
"We really missed you!"
Naomi introduced Baron....
"So...you're the guy who stole Naomi's heart...."
Then to Naomi, "Come and see what we've been working on..."
"It's absolutely stunning!"
"Look....the newest issue of Fashion is out....."
"...with you on the cover..."
"They included your photos of all my favourite designs..."
Baron sat down to take a closer look, while Naomi talked with her friends.
His photos did look very good in print.

A Gift
Naomi held out the envelope...
"This for the two of you.
"I had my lawyer transfer ownership of this shop...."
"...to the two of you..."
They were shocked, and didn't know what to say....
"..But....why?"
"We thought this shop was what you had dreamed about your whole life..."
"It was. It still is...."
"But...another one of my dreams has also come true..."
"I found my true love....my 'knight in shining armour'...."
"...and I can't have both. So I'm going away with Baron, and I hope one day to start another shop in his town."
"Well..... we are really going to miss you."
"I'm really going to miss the both of you as well..."
Baron felt sad for Naomi, as it was clear just how much she was giving up to be with him.
Naomi said one last 'Good bye'....
...and she left....
...for a whole new life.
