David's Birthday - Part 3
Happy Birthday!
Back inside, it was time for the birthday cake....
"Happy Birthday David!!"
Dessert
The birthday cake was moved inside to the middle of the dessert table,
and everyone gathered round to help themselves to something delectable...

"Everything looks so delicious!"
The kitchen staff had really outdone themselves...
"It's turning out to be quite the evening..."
"..and David looks so happy..."
More Dessert
Everyone was enjoying the wonderful desserts...
"These eclairs are amazing! Have you tried one?"
"Not yet..."
"David is growing up so fast..."
"I can't believe how fast the time flies by. He's almost a young man."
"Looks like you and I chose the same thing..."
Treats for Shadow
After the turkey leg incident at dinner, Ringo and Shadow had become good friends.....
.....and Shadow kept following Ringo around, hoping he'd be offered something more....
After all, those desserts did look rather delicious....
"You want me to get you something too, boy?"
"How about this eclair?"

Dancing
No celebration would be complete without some dancing, so Yvette sat down to play some favourite dance tunes on her lute...
As was the custom, the birthday person always chose their partner first.....
...and David asked his Mom.

Then it was time for everyone else to pair up...traditionally not with their own partner...
"Would you like to dance?"
"Would you like to dance?"
"May I have this dance, my Lady?"
Another Dance
Everyone was having such a great time....
...that Yvette started to play another musical piece for yet another popular dance....
Gentlemen on the right, with left hand on the hip.......and ladies on their left....
They kept the same partners as before...... David with his Mom on his right....
Ringo and Paige got to lead. It made him feel so grown up....
Then a pirouette at the end.....
