Another Flower Fairy

Tiny Talyssa still didn't have her new replacement hand, and I was getting frustrated. So I decided to sew her something new to try and 'bond' with her. I finished her fairy costume one evening in Spring, then took her out in the garden for some photos...

Rose Petals

Jan gave me a beautiful bouquet of pink roses for Mother's Day .....

They lasted for well over a week, then the flowers started to droop, and the petals started to dry up. I thought they still looked beautiful and wanted to use them in some Flower Fairy pictures....

The dried roses gave the photos a certain, old-fashioned, watercolour feel, that reminded me of Cecily Barker's Flower Fairy illustrations....especially some of the close-ups.....
