the Baby Arrives
Leona had come back in time to help out her sister when it was time to deliver....
"She's beautiful!"

Steve was beside himself with excitement, and couldn't wait to come in and meet his new daughter...

The baby turned to look at him....
"Look, she recognizes your voice!"

A New Little Sister
Steve invited the children in to meet their new little sister....
"Awww...she's so cute! ....I think she likes me!"

But Eric was a bit hesitant to get closer. He wasn't used to seeing his Mom in bed, and had been very worried...
Iris motioned for him to come closer...
"Go ahead. Go see your new little sister...."
"I think she would really like to meet her big brother..."
The baby turned to look at him.....
"I think she likes me!"
A Name for Baby
Later that day, the kids had gone off to play, and Steve went back to see Iris.
She had gotten out of bed, and was sitting in the rocking chair, cradling the sleeping baby....

"Do you think I could hold her?"
"We need to decide on her name."
"Well.....I've been thinking of Francina Elizabeth, after our two dearest aunts..."
"That's a lovely name, and I love. it...but it seems like such a big name for such a little girl....."
"We can call her 'Sena' for short....."
"Good night, little Sena..."
