Costume Alteration
The sleeves of this outfit were altered - enlarged to fit a Kaye Wiggs MSD girl's arms. Blue brocade strips were sewn onto one edge, embroidered and beaded to match, and snap fasteners were moved.
Bodice with hand-beaded neckline and beaded lace applique, laces up the back. Wired, painted wings insert into pockets on back of bodice. Separate lower sleeves with beaded lace applique snap around arm for snug fit. The longest skirt is made from an Indian scarf with silver threads. The medium length skirt is a blue knit with dyed edge, and glitter sparkles. The shortest skirt is edged with white lace leaves and strands of small white flowers. Her 'tiara' is made of wired beads and ties in place with ribbon.
