More Birthday Fun
It was time for another game - Musical Chairs - one that would get everyone up and moving. All the chairs were arranged in two rows back to back, with one less chair than participants. Narae was in charge of the music, and everyone else had to march around the chairs, and whenever she stopped the music, they had to sit on a chair as fast as possible. The person left standing would be out. Each time someone was out, another chair would be removed until there were just one chair and two people left for the final round....
....even Winston participated.....
Round and round they marched....
Narae kept her back to the others, so she couldn't 'cheat' and try control the results...
When she turned off the music, everyone got a seat...except Nami...
"Okay, I'm the first one out.."
...and she went and took a seat on the sofa....
...and Winston removed one of the chairs....
They continued playing Musical Chairs, and soon Nami had plenty of company on the sofa..
They were down to just eight people, and seven chairs....
Round and round they went...
Narae turned off the music....
...and everyone scrambled for a seat...
...and this time it was Winston who was out of luck...
With Winston being out, Narae let him to be in control of the music....
Soon a few more elves were out, and there were just four left....

But Effie, who was still a little sore over being out, was watching Winston....

..and noticed that he was sneaking a look... |

...and he seemed to be watching for when it would be a good time to stop the music....
"Hey!! You aren't allowed to look!!"
"That's cheating!!"
So with Effie keeping an eye on Winston to make sure he wasn't cheating....
...they were soon down to just two - Ringo and Chloe.....
Round and round they went....
....both trying to stay close to the seat.....
Then Winston turned off the music, and turned to see who got the last chair....
It was Chloe!!
Chloe was the winner!!
Willie had been waiting patiently until the game was over, so she could give Winston her gift....

"Is it time to open the gifts now??"

"I have something for you, Winston!!"

"Here you go.......Happy Birthday!!"
"Wow!! Thanks!! Just what I always wanted!!"
"Errr.......what are they??"
It's wing de-icer!! So next time you have to go somewhere in a storm, you can still fly, instead of having to walk.

Winston continued to open his gifts. Peach and Bonnie had chipped in to give him a fire extinguisher.....
'Wow, this will come in very handy.....especially when I accidentally set something on fire!!"
Then Chloe stepped forward with her gift....
"Happy Birthday Winston!!"
Everyone wanted to see what was in it....
"Wow, it's matches!! Boxes full of matches!!"
"What does a dragon need matches for?? Doesn't he breathe fire??"
"Yes, but when they get a cold, or a tummy ache, their flame can go out...."
"So if that happens, all he has to do is light one of these, and breathe it in, and it's fixed!"
"Wow, that's so thoughtful of you!!"
"Wow, that's so thoughtful of you!!"
"Thanks! That's what I thought!"
Ringo and Efreet had been waiting patiently to give Winston their gift....
..and it was finally their turn....
"This is from us...Happy Birthday!"
"Wow! Cookies, marshmallows, and chocolate!!"
"It's a S'mores kit!!"
'I LOVE making these!! They are my favourite! Thank you so much!"
With the last of the gifts opened, it was time for cake and treats,
