Back when we first started working on a book about Winston, it seemed impossible to create any kind of cohesive story because he'd been with so many different people on all kinds of adventures in several different time periods. Then Marianne had the brilliant idea of making the book into Winston's personal photo album, with his favourite photos taken throughout the years, accompanied by comments that he had personally written in. Which is exactly what we did.

The book starts with Winston's first photos with my contemporary kids...

..and continues with his many adventures...

..into more recent stories...

ending with him meeting Saphira and falling in love.

At the very end is the 'credits' page with all his friends that appear in the photos. Sixty friends in all, plus one very special friend....

It truly is a wonderful book, with 187 colourful photos on 87 pages - not including all the photos of his friends on the last page. Our biggest book so far! Marianne did a fantastic job on it. It's such a fun book, and so many of the photos just make me smile! Even after having seen all the dozens of test pdfs, and now the final printed book, some photos still make me laugh out loud.
