The White Cat Sequel, part 1
Ever wonder what happened after 'happily ever after' in the old French fairy tale La Chat Blanche? Well, I imagined what it might have been like and came up with a sequel. But the story ended up so long that we decided to divide it into two parts, and publish each section as its own book
It's the story of Princess Kassia and Prince Adrian, after he had broken the spell where she and her court had been transformed into cats. They had married, but life didn't seem to the happily ever after either had dreamt of.
Adrian goes with a friend to pick up some new horses....leaving Kassia home alone with their cat...
Adrian and Kyle meet up with the horse trader....
When he returns home, Adrian is surprised to see the guards have all become cats...again.
Inside he finds Kassia struggling with her new feline personality....
The next morning Adrian wakes up a cat as well....
He sends the guards to fetch the Wizard in the hope that he can help...
The Wizard and Willie try to figure out why Adrian, Kassia, and their entire court are cats again...
But Kassia and Adrian aren't the only ones who have suddenly been transformed. One princess' three brothers are ravens again..
The frog prince is a frog again...
And everyone in Sleeping Beauty's castle is asleep again, except for the Prince and their two daughters...
Kassia and Adrian go on with their lives as cats, waiting for the Wizard to create a transformation formula....
Winston arrives to take Willie to gather some magic mushrooms for a transformation potion...
At the castle, everyone is eager to take the potion....
It works on Kassia....but no one else....
So now they have two wait for the Fairy Court to hear their case and hopefully set things right, in part 2.
The story is told through 129 pages, with over 260 very colourful photos.
