Forest Dweller Party

The long-awaited, newest, Forest Dwellers, by Whispering Grass, finally arrived on the last day of May.
There's Mr. & Mrs. Khitrula Fox, and a Ginger Raccoon girlfriend for my Smuzhka

The foxes both came with some lovely light blue glass eyes, but I thought they made them look too "foxy", so I switched one of them to a brown acrylic instead. What a difference that made! I think the brown-eyed one will be the guy, and I'll name him Rhett. The girl will be Kitty.

The Ginger Raccoon came with some yellow glass eyes. The package said they were 12mm, but the iris filled the entire eyehole, and was considerably wider than all my other 12mm eyes. So I put in some light brown 12mm eyes that came with an Iplehouse BID years ago. I'm going to call her 'Ginger'...

Blue-eyed Kitty was always trying to get the attention of her guy, Rhett.....

She's one 'foxy' fox.....

Willie decided to throw a party to welcome the new Forest Dwellers.
First to arrive were Mr. Ropuha and Tiana, who had offered to bring the drinks....

They found a nice comfy seat together, and discovered the cooler doubled as a great foot-rest.

Smuzhka Raccoon was the next to arrive, and he brought a big box of donuts.

"I'm so glad you could come.."

Just then, Ginger arrived. She was new in the neighbourhood.
"I don't think the two of you have met. Let me introduce you..."

Smuzhka offered her a donut, and they sat down to get better acquainted....

The Khitrula foxes were next to arrive at the party.
"Thanks so much for inviting us! This is Kitty, and I'm Rhett."

"We are looking forward to meeting everyone."

"They found a seat, and made themselves comfortable....

"What???"

"This isn't our living room at home, so you better behave yourself.
People are watching, so please, don't embarrass me..."

All the Manuna Mice arrived......Mannie, Muffy, Missy and Melody.....

...and Willie welcomed them...

Missy and Muffy helped themselves to one of Smuzhka's donuts, and being the tiny little creatures they were, and not needing much room, they found some 'empty spots' to squeeze into....

"Excuse me, is this space reserved??"

Mannie was going to be in charge of grilling, but needed a little help in moving a bench over to the barbecue...

"Looks like your friends could use a little help." quipped Kitty, who was a bit annoyed at the little mouse who had squeezed herself onto the seat between her and Rhett.....
