Visitors

Everyone was excited to hear about the arrival of Baron and Naomi's twins, and they all wanted to come for a visit to see them....

Lawrence and Monica

Lawrence and Monica were very excited for Baron and Naomi...
Picture
"Congratulations on becoming a father."
Picture
Picture
Monica went over to Naomi..."How are you feeling?"
Picture
Picture
"I'm feeling good, thank you. I'm just a little tired."
Picture
Baron picked up his daughter...
Picture
"She's adorable."
Picture
Monica also loved babies. "Would you like to hold him?"
Picture
Picture
Lawrence and Monica loved children, and he immediately recognized that look in her eyes.
Picture
He sighed, "I know what you're thinking, but we already have our hands full with four."
Picture
Naomi turned to Lawrence...
Picture
"Baron and I would be honoured if you would consider becoming our children's Godparents?"
Picture
"Yes, there's no one we would rather entrust our children to, than the two of you."
Picture
Picture
Picture
"We would be honoured to be their Godparents."
Picture
"They are so adorable."

Watching Lawrence and Monica with the babies...

...filled Baron and Naomi with a sense of peace....
Picture
...knowing that if something should ever happen to them, their children would still have a loving home.

the Doctor

After having visited the King, the Doctor returned to Miho's castle to spend a bit more time with Baron. The two of them had become good friends during Baron's recovery.
Picture
"Your King is a good man. He's offered to send me much needed medical supplies for my practice up north, as a reward for having saved your life."
Picture
"I told him it wasn't necessary, that I was only doing my job, but he insisted. He clearly thinks a lot of you."
Picture
"Yes, he is a very good man."
Picture
"He and I have been good friends since we were boys."
Picture
Meanwhile Naomi was busy with the laundry.  Having twins meant twice the diapers to wash.
Picture
She was happy the doctor had been there when she gave birth, and that everything had gone well.
Picture
Picture
...and she was happy that he was able to stay a few days and visit with Baron.
Picture
Picture
"Well, I think it's time I returned home.  I've stayed long enough. I believe Sir Rex will be arriving soon to escort me home."
Picture
"I'm so glad to have met you, and I hope all the best for you and your family."
Picture
"Thank you for everything. Thank you for all you did to bring Baron home to us."
Picture
"And thank you for helping with the delivery of our babies."
Picture
He turned to Baron, "It was really good to see you again son, and looking so good too."
Picture
"There were times after your attack I was very concerned that you would even make it. You were in such bad shape."
Picture
Picture
"But look at you now. All healed, and a father too. Take good care of those little ones."
Picture
"Yes, we will.  And thank you again for everything."

Winston and Willie

Later that same day, two more visitors arrived.
Picture
"Look at those two adorable babies!"
Picture
"I know who else would love to meet you," they both said at once.
Picture
"My friend Phairby would love to come and see them," said Willie.
Picture
"Saphira and the kids have been asking to come too." added Winston.
Picture
Naomi turned to Baron...
Picture
She suddenly felt a bit uncertain, but didn't want to be rude.
Picture
"Winston has been a good friend my whole life. I think it would be nice if our children got to know each other as well."
Picture
"And I promise to be there when they come."
Picture
"So yes, we'd love for you to bring them."
Picture
"That's great! Thank you.  I know they will be thrilled."
Picture
"So we'll see you both again tomorrow!"

Willie & Phairby

The next day Willie returned with Phairby...
Picture
"Hello little one.  Aren't you just the sweetest?"
Picture
Naomi took Daniel out of the cradle as well, so they could have a better visit with both the twins...
Picture
"Hello sweetheart."
Picture
Picture
"Do you think we could each hold one?"
Picture
"Yes, of course." and Naomi passed Fiona to Willie, and Daniel to Phairby. But she stayed close because the babies were almost as big as the two little grannies.
Picture
"I love babies!  And yours are adorable."
Picture
"They sure are.."
Picture
Picture
"Such a sweet little boy."

the Dragons Visit

Baron and Naomi had decided that the best place to host Winston and Saphira and their four rambunctious little ones, would be outside on the terrace.
Picture
Saphira and Nuri drew close to Naomi, who was holding baby Daniel.....
Picture
While Winston and two of the young dragons were curious about little Fiona...
Picture
But Elliot was more interested in the baby's toys...
Picture
Baron was keeping a watchful eye...
Picture
He trusted Winston and Saphira, and realized their little ones had never seen human babies before, and that they were just curious, but the safety of his children was his prime concern.
Picture
"Your babies are so cute." commented Saphira, "But they seem rather helpless, and very dependent."
Picture
"...and not at all like baby dragons, who can walk and talk from the moment they hatch."
Picture
"It does take human babies a while to become more mobile and independent." agreed Naomi.
Picture
"They remind me of you when Miho and I first found you." added Winston. "But you were a little older."
Picture
Naomi and Saphira started to become a bit concerned....
Picture
It seemed like Scorch and Sparkle were having too much fun rocking Fiona's cradle.
Picture
Baron didn't want to start their relationship off on the wrong foot by scolding the dragon toddlers, so he picked up Fiona....
Picture
...and Elliot immediately jumped into her cradle...
Picture
"Such a beautiful baby." commented Saphira.
Picture
Danial started to whimper....
Picture
...and all the little dragons crowded round to see.  "Is he okay?"
Picture
"Yes, he's fine. I think he's just hungry."
Picture
Seeing his children's concern for the whimpering baby, "I think our children are going to be good friends some day," observed Winston.
Picture
"Yes, I think so too."
