Victorian Times

I decided to remake the Victorian dress off one of my old porcelain dolls, to fit my Iris, Iplehouse JID'I'

The skirts only needed a new waistband, and the hat fit perfectly, but I had to completely rework the bodice jacket, to fit a much larger JID torso. Fortunately I still had a little of the original striped fabric.

I decided to use the last scraps of the striped fabric to make two little matching dresses for her daughter and niece....

Getting Ready to go Out

Iris was trying to get her daughter Nyssa, and niece Holly, ready to go out for a Sunday stroll....

Holly had put her hat on, and was all set to go....

But Nyssa was dawdling....

'What's the problem, honey?"

"I'll take my bear out, and carry him. Then there will be room."

Nyssa put her doll in the buggy....

And then they were finally ready to go out.

Father & Son

So, I had Victorian dresses for Iris, Nyssa and Holly, and I already had two KID size Victorian dresses for Lisa and Lonnie, so then I needed something for the guys. I made Steve a Victorian Gentlemen's outfit, and a sailor suit for Eric. Then the family was complete!
