Victorian Everyday
A collection of short photo stories with my Victorian dolls
the Broken Doll
With all the in and out, taking photos with my porcelain dolls, Nyssa's baby had an accident.
Her doll fell on the floor, and the whole head shattered into pieces....
It was broken into so many pieces that it would be impossible to glue back together ...
"No, I'm afraid this time she can't be fixed..."
Autumn Stroll
One lovely autumn day, my little Victorian family decided to go for a stroll in the coloured leaves....
Paper Snowflakes
Nyssa wanted to make some paper snowflakes to decorate the front window....
....so she got out some white paper, and showed Elin how to fold it....
"And now you cut out of the edges....and unfold it..."
"Yes, like that...."
"Let's hang up our snowflakes on the window..."
So they taped them all up....
"What have you girls been up to?"
'We've been making it look like there's a snowstorm inside the house.."
"You certainly have!!"
"Ooops..."
"If we clean up all these stray 'flurries' on the floor, then we'll just have your lovely snowstorm left on the window..."
A New Doll
Christmas morning the family gathered in the parlour to open their gifts....
Nyssa was so happy to receive a brand new doll....
"She even has her own little doll!"
"I love her!!"
