Victorian Christmas
Christmas Shopping
Iris took the kids to see the holiday windows in town, and do a bit of last minute shopping....
Nyssa kept reminding her Mom all the things she was hoping to get for Christmas...
"Christmas isn't just about presents..."
"I need to go into the store for a minute. You two wait out here..."
"I wonder what they are talking about??"
Christmas Morning
The room was full of excitement on Christmas morning, as the children opened their gifts....
Eric opened his gift to find a shiny new train set....
Nyssa got two new little baby dolls, and the newest books in the series she'd been reading...
Lisa got some new sewing supplies and a paint box....
But Sena was more interested in all the sparkly things on the tree...
After opening their gifts everyone settled down for some quiet time....
Except for Lisa, who was busy in the kitchen.
She had wanted to make Christmas dinner all by herself this year....
"How do I make the gravy Mom?"

"There's a girl and a boy, just like me and Eric..."
Eric was interested in reading Nyssa's new books...
While his Dad took out the new train set....
He had put little Sena where she couldn't get into any trouble....
Steve was a little disappointed that Eric wasn't as excited about the trains as he had hoped...
...but then, who had he really bought them for???
...and Sena seemed to like them a lot as well....
So everything was good....
