Trip to Florida, Part One
In March 2014 I took five of my small Iplehouse dolls along on our trip to Florida and the Southern states. Each time we'd visit a
new place, one or two dolls would come along to explore. This is the first half of the collection of doll photos taken during our trip.

Packing for the Trip
the Blooming Redbud
One of the first signs of spring as we head south, are the clouds of purple redbud blossoms at the edges of the woods.
Nami and Byuri loved the tiny purple flowers.

New Orleans
This time it was Byuri and Lonnie who came along to explore the French Quarter.
Bellingrath Gardens
Byuri and Elin came along to explore the estate gardens in southern Alabama
Gulf Islands National Seashore
The Gulf Islands along Florida's Panhandle have some of the most beautiful beaches of pure white sand stretching for miles, all
the way from Alabama to Panama City. Most are taken up by hotels and resorts, but there are a few stretches which have been
left in it's natural state, and those make up the Gulf Islands National Seashore. Because we could park right along the beach, it
was possible for all five dolls to come out and enjoy the late day sun (although not for too long, as sun isn't good for them)
