Lonnie carefully measured Nami's feet. "You have big feet - they are the same size as mine"
Byuri and Erzulie were also in the store, checking out the new spring clogs...
..and of course, now that Nami knew how big her feet were, and what size shoe she
needed, she decided to take advantage of the Big Spring Shoe Sales....

January 27th is Thomas Crapper Day
Today we celebrate the life and handiwork of 19th century master plumber Sir Thomas Crapper. Although he is often credited for it, he did not actually invent the flush toilet, but did much to improve it. So, today we celebrate indoor plumbing....

She loves adventure, and can imagine being adrift in a lifeboat...
But on Robinson Crusoe Day we are supposed to imagine ourselves shipwrecked on an island....
February 2nd is Groundhog Day
The girls were concerned the groundhog wouldn't be able to get out of his hole, so they went out so shovel the snow off if.
But they couldn't find it. Oh well, there's always at least six more weeks of winter whether he sees his shadow or not....

The snow was coming down rather hard, so the girls took the umbrella out with them. But they decided they preferred
the flakes falling on them. After all, "snowflakes on nose and eyelashes", are one of their favourite things.
