New Chainmail

A New Collar
The very first thing to be made from the new chainmail, was a new collar for Baron. The one he had was made from two leftover strips from a chainmail glove, which were sewn together with silver crochet thread. I constantly had to watch to make sure those unsightly seams never showed up in photos. So this new one is one piece, joined with jump rings at the back.
I also cut the edge into points so it would flare out better...
Grace's Chain Mail
Grace was one of the people waiting for the new chainmail to arrive. She needed chainmail sleeves and some showing below her tunic, to suggest she was wearing a full chainmail shirt....
She was so proud of her shiny new chainmail, that she had to show it off...

Chain Mail for Milo
Another older outfit in need of chainmail was my KID boy's Fantasy costume. It was originally made with silver lame sleeves, but needed real chainmail. So Grace added some...
....also to the bottom of Milo's leather tunic, to give the impression he was wearing a full chainmail shirt underneath....
Posing for a 'family' portrait....
Bonnie can become their daughter, as she was one of my 'orphan' BIDs and without a family. However I haven't decided on Milo. He technically belongs to another family already. But I didn't have any 'orphan' KID boys. So he's joining them for now.
