Nami's Dragon
Once upon a time, a little princess invited her friends over for a very special feast. It was 'World Egg Day", and to celebrate
they were going to be having some very special eggs for dinner - special large blue eggs, served on a bed of mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots and broccoli. They were very rare dragon eggs, found in a secret nest far away in the Misty Mountains.

The girls couldn't believe their eyes! The beautiful blue eggs were huge!
They weren't sure where to begin, or if they even wanted to eat them, but Nami picked up her spoon to crack her egg.
But then something very strange started to happen. Her egg started to vibrate. A small crack appeared, which grew bigger
and bigger. Bits of shell broke off. Something inside was trying to come out! A small claw appeared! Could it really be??

The eggs had been thoroughly cooked, but it would seem that dragon eggs are impervious to heat....
Nami became excited. "Can I keep him?" she asked, "I've always wanted a pet dragon!"
So, she took him home. The baby dragon grew quickly, and she named him 'Flame', because he was a fire-breathing dragon.
Flame loved to eat fresh, fire-singed meat, and soon the castle was devoid of all it's mice and rats.
But Nami loved all the other little animals and birds that made the castle their home, so she made a collar for him.

The collar was covered with bells, so all the birds and small animals would
hear Flame coming, and could safely get away. "Here you go boy..."

One day Nami's friends, Elin and Byuri, came for a visit.....
They were very curious to see Flame, but were very apprehensive when they saw him glaring at them.
"Wow, he's grown so big! And he looks very scary! Are you sure he's safe??"

"Oh no, don't worry," reassured Nami, "He's all sweet and loving, just like a big kitty cat. Come say Hello"
Elin came closer, and was pleased at how friendly Flame seemed. Byuri wasn't so sure she wanted to get any closer.
"Hi Flame. You really are a nice boy, aren't you?"
"Yes, he is." said Nami. "I love him so much!"
"We can all take him for a little walk. But I'll need you to bring that.."
"What? That red thing over there?" asked Elin.
"Yes, the fire extinguisher," replied Nami.
" Daddy says I can keep Flame as long as I promise to take that fire extinguisher with me wherever I take him,
so I can put out any fires if he has a little accident. Daddy doesn't want Flame burning down the kingdom."

While Elin was fetching the fire extinguisher, Byuri was busying herself picking some flowers....
Then they all went for a nice walk....Nami with Flame on his leash, Elin carrying the fire extinguisher,
and Byuri following in the rear with her flowers...
