Mother Goose Day

May 1st is Mother Goose Day....

Baby Day

May 2nd is 'Baby Day'. Steve and iris have the only family with a baby - little Sena - so it was her turn to be a star for the day.
After being in Victorian times for a few years, they decided to come back to the future for a while.

Which meant I had to make Sena some contemporary clothes...

So I made her two outfits....

...and a warm little sweater...

Kite Day

May 4th is 'Kite Day', so Steve took the kids to the park to fly their kites...

"He Did It!

May13 is 'Blame Someone Else Day'. Steve was bringing some of his wife's plants out to the patio for the summer, while the kids were out there playing with the dog. Suddenly there was a loud crash, and one of the prized cyclamen lay smashed on the ground.....
"Okay, who did that!?!?"

Eric and Nyssa pointed to the dog...."He did it!"

"Oh really?"

"He doesn't look especially guilty..."

"But he did."

"Bad dog!"

Straw Hats & Chocolate Chips

May 15th was Straw Hat Day, as well as Chocolate Chip Day, so two of my little girls - Elin and Holly - got all dressed up to take a walk in the spring blossoms, and they took along some some chocolate chip cookies to enjoy for a snack....

Tree Hugging

May 16th was 'Love a Tree Day', so Talyssa thought she'd go out and give our trees a hug. First, one of our magnolias...

...then the other magnolia....

Unfortunately none of the other trees were accessible, so she hugged the bits of the decorative dead ones scattered throughout the garden.....

Bike to Work

May 21st is National Bike to Work Day, and I spotted Owen doing just that. He had his tool box and lunch, and was wearing his safety vest. Unfortunately biking in the city meant a lot of stopping and waiting for traffic lights....

A Pizza Party

May 21st was 'National Pizza Party Day', and some of the kids got together to enjoy some pizza in the garden. They had a cooler full of drinks ready, and some donuts and watermelon for desert, when Milo arrived with the pizza...
