Newfoundland Adventure Part 2 - Labrador
We took the ferry from St. Barbe across the Strait of Belle Isle to Labrador, and explored the coast and villages along
the 100 km stretch of the paved "Labrador Coastal Drive", the southern half of which actually crosses into Quebec.
Photography was a continuous battle with swarms of black-flies, so unfortunately it wasn't possible to be
particularly creative - set up, shoot, and get back in the vehicle as fast as possible.
Enjoying a sunny day at Old Fort, Quebec, the southern-most town along the Labrador Coastal Drive.

We discover an Inukshuk at a mountaintop lookout...
Overlooking the bay at Red Bay, the northernmost town along the paved Labrador Coastal Drive. I wish I'd been
able to take more photos here, but the black-flies were so bad, these were all I could manage.

The following set of photos would not have even been taken had we made it onto the ferry. But we didn't fit, so we went
back to L'Anse-au-Clair to wait the five hours until the next sailing. With all the icebergs as background, it was time
to get out all the props and let everyone amuse themselves...
