Iplekids Everyday

A collection of photos featuring my smaller Iplehouse dolls.

Happy New Year!

It's January 1st 2026, and the start of another new year.  How did we get here so fast?  The older I get, the faster time seems to fly. Anyways, here's hoping it's a good one

Doll Houses

Three lucky little girls had the opportunity to play with Jan's Hallmark house ornament collection....

All Dressed Up

I spent two weeks photographing the last two parts of a story I started way back in 2012, and one of the scenes was a wedding. It involved all my non-fashion-size MSD dolls, and since several of them usually live in contemporary times, they needed to borrow some fancy Medieval gowns from their fashion size friends. Then after finishing photographing the actual wedding, I thought some of the ladies deserved a few special photos of their own....
Picture
Benny, Kassia, and Iris looked beautiful in their borrowed gowns...
Picture
I love how my ladies can share outfits, and like usual Kassia loaned her elaborate white gown to the bride. So she deserved something special...

Benny looked beautiful in purple...

...and Iris looked stunning in Naomi's wedding gown....

Groundhog Day

It had been a long, very cold winter, and with it being Groundhog Day, the children went out to find one.
Picture
"So, what's the verdict?  Are we done with this extreme cold and all the snow, or are we still getting another six weeks of winter?"
Picture
"How would I know?  I'm not a groundhog. I'm an otter."
Picture
"Ooops....Sorry about that. Our mistake."
Picture
"So, where can we find a groundhog?"
Picture
Picture
"I don't know."
Picture
"But you do realize that they have no training in actual scientific weather forecasting, so no matter whether he sees his shadow or not, we are still in for at least another eight more weeks of winter.

Pasta Day

Holly and Cookie were enjoying pasta for lunch...
Picture
Not only was it delicious, but it came in so many different fun shapes. Holly loved the elbows...
Picture
...and Cookie loved the wavy lasagne...
Picture
"Yummmm!"
Picture
Picture
But Cookie's brother Elliot had a different idea...
Picture
Picture
"What are you doing?"
Picture
"Making a picture."
Picture
"Of what?"

the Toy Store

I needed a toy store for a story, so set one up using just about every mini doll, stuffed animal, and toy I have, and it looked especially realistic with the sun shining in through the window....

After the shop keeper moved in, he made a few changes.
Picture
He decided to move the bags of blocks to the bottom of another display case, and replace them with puppets instead...
Picture
And he decided to rearrange the dollhouses a bit,
Picture
and take one down from the crowded upper shelf, and put it in the window instead...

And he was ready to open the shop for the day....

Scarf Day

Winter just doesn't want to lose its grip this year, and it's another very cold, windy day, with more rain or flurries in the forecast.
Picture
Everyone is just trying to stay warm...
