Iplekids Everyday
A collection of photos of my smaller Iplehouse dolls...
Efreet & the Geese
On a farm there was never a break from the daily chores. Whether in the heat of summer, or the cold of winter, animals needed to be fed and stalls cleaned out...
The geese would always come...
...to see of Efreet had brought anything nice to eat...
"Sorry, I don't have anything special today."
Kassia at the Ruins
I was inspired by an image I saw on Facebook, so I changed Kassia's wig, and gave her MacBeth's sword, and took her, and the two Arctic foxes, along to the Ruins Garden for some Fantasy photos...
Easter Portraits
I was feeling under pressure to take some photos with the tiny Easter chocolates that I'd bought, so yesterday I redressed all my little contemporary BID girls into their lace party dresses. (well, except for two girls, who I'd not made a birthday dress for yet) It had been a few years since any of them had posed for Easter photos. Then I put together some Easter baskets for them.

Book Covers
Marianne and I were working on the Toilet Paper Chronicles, and needed something for the front and back covers. It wasn't a very big book, so we didn't really want to use something from inside the book, so I we thought maybe a new 'stocking the store' type photo. So I set up the scene on my kitchen table. I started with a white background but then the toilet paper didn't stand out enough...
So I taped some gray and cream construction paper on the walls...
I also came up with the idea of photographing Coco in a pile of toilet paper rolls....
In the end, it was the photo of Coco that made the front cover, and the other one at the store end dup on the back cover.
the Circus
The circus was in town this summer, and I took two boys to go check it out.
in some ways it was a little disappointing. Circuses no longer have any animal acts, and there were no side-shows or concession stands either. Just the big top....
But I bought the boys some cotton candy....
...and balloons...
