An Iplekids Christmas
A collection of Christmas theme photos featuring my Iplehouse Dolls....
Teddy Tea
Cookie had invited Buster the bear over for tea...
"I'm so glad you could come."
"Well, thank you for inviting me."
"Some more tea?"
"Yes, please."
Holiday Pillows
I had wanted to shoot another promo for my Holiday pillows...
... but things got a little out of control..
Byuri was a little apprehensive about getting involved...at first...
..but soon joined in the fun...
...as things got really wild...
Ooops!
The kids were getting totally carried away with their pillow fight...
When suddenly there was a loud crash... "Ooops!"
Steve rushed into the room...
...to find the Christmas tree flat on the floor....
"What is going on here!?!?"
"We were just having a little pillow fight...."
"...and then the tree just fell over."
Sena seemed totally unconcerned, sitting among the pillows, playing with an ornament that had fallen off the tree...
Steve turned to Eric and Nyssa, "Your friends are going home right now, and then the two of you are going to help me clean up this mess and fix everything before your mother gets home. Hopefully all her favourite ornaments are still okay."
Party Girls
I don't usually like unfinished projects lying around, but there were two little party dresses that had been started way back in 2015, the year I started throwing birthday parties for all my small dolls. There was a pink satin bolero jacket and a black velveteen bodice taking up space in my BID Patterns envelope, and every time I had to look for a pattern I'd think that I really needed to finish those two dresses. So I finally did...
...and Holly modelled the wine and black one...
Two little girls all dressed up for the holidays...
Popcorn Chains
Byuri was busy making a popcorn chain for the tree....
...and she was almost done....
...when her brother Aaron came in..."I thought I smelled popcorn..."
He started to reach for some...
"Can I eat some?"
"Well, I'm almost done, and if you help me put this up in the tree, then you can eat all the leftovers."
Christmas Cookies
The house was dark and quiet, with the stockings hung from the fireplace...
When, in the wee hours of the morning, who should appear...
...but Santa, with his sack full of gifts.
But not everyone was sound asleep....
"Well, hello there!"
"I knew you would come..."
"So I helped Mom make your favourite cookies..."
"Well, let's try some then..."
And they sat down together....
...eating cookies...
...and chatting a while...
Like two old friends...
...which is exactly what they were.
"Well, I still have a lot of other houses to go to...."
"so I can't stay..."
So he helped tuck the boy in....
...put on his mitts, and picked up his sack...
"It's been wonderful to see you again."
"Until next year then..."
"And thank you so much for the milk and cookies!"
"They really are my favourite!"
