A Season for Giving

At this time of year, our thoughts turn to helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a family and warm home to go to, and some are stuck spending the holidays alone, out on the streets in the cold.... 

Well, Efreet and Erzulie knew there was regularly a man and his dog panhandling out near the mall, and they asked their Mom if they could do something for him. So one evening when they were out Christmas shopping, Efreet brought along an afghan and some warm mittens, and Erzulie took some money out of her piggy bank, and bought a nice warm take-out meal for him...

All Wrapped Up

The girls were busy wrapping up their gifts...

Everything had to be perfect, even the colour of the bows....

However when it was the boy's turn to wrap their gifts, they started to get carried away.....

the Nativity Scene

One of the favourite things to do before the Holidays is to set up the Nativity scene....

After all, that's what Christmas is really about....

'Twins'

Among my dolls designated as 'regular kids' right now, are my two newest BIDs Olivia and Cookie. It took me a while to start playing with them because of all mess with the courier after they arrived damaged and missing a COA. Both are duplicate sculpts of dolls I already have, so I've been avoiding posting them together. But I decided it was time. 

The two new girls have Iplehouse faceups, while my first ones have custom artist faceups by Charie Wilson, so they are not exactly the same. They aren't going to be 'siblings', but can be 'cousins'.  First the two 'Bono' girls, Holly and Olivia....

Last time we were at the local nursery, they had all their Christmas decorations on sale, and I noticed some little nutcrackers - some 'brown' nutcrackers.  I'd never seen them like that before, and thought my light brown dolls would appreciate nutcrackers like themselves, so bought two...
