In the Ruins
I've wanted to take some of my FIDs to the Ruins Gardens for a photo shoot, but it's been so hot, and I didn't want to go on a weekend because of the crowds. So we finally went this morning. I only brought Miho, Bianca and Rex. Odd numbers of subjects usually make for better pictures. But the truth is, I didn't feel like dealign with four dolls.
My favourite set of ruins is the Greek Theatre, but it was being used for a professional wedding dress photo shoot, so we had to make do with the other ones. The first set of photos was taken in the shade of some trees, with the gardens in the background....

My favourite setting for doll photos at the Ruins Garden is the Greek Theatre. But that morning there was a professional photographer group taking photos there of models in bridal gowns. There was a big RV in the parking lot, and racks of bridal gowns being steamed into shape, and tons of photo equipment. So the theatre was out for a doll setting.
But there's a big pillar capital sitting in the woods just north of the theatre, where I can pose a doll and still have the tops of the pillars in the background....
