House Elves Everyday
A collection of smaller stories featuring my House Elves
Sewing Machine
September 10th is National Sewing Machine Day and we find Emily with her Mom Daisy in her sewing room...
Emily has chosen a nice blue gingham...
and found a matching thread...
She just needs to decide what she wants to make out of it.
Introducing Otto
I fell in love with DreamHigh Studio's Otto, the Otter, the first time I saw him in his armour back in December. He reminded me of the tiny animal knights fighting alongside the characters in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe's Prince Caspian, and would fit in perfectly with my tiny Elf Knight army. So I ordered him, and after several delays, he arrived in August.
I was busy with other projects, so it took a while to finally address trying to finagle his armour onto him. it was all laced together with fine elastic and was a huge challenge to get him into, but I did succeed. I found the red scarf he came with was a bit too bulky, so knit him a finer, new one. He also needed a weapon, and I still had a few more sword charms which were the perfect size.

Rabbits
September 21st is National Rabbit Day, and I caught Avery and Emily playing with some rabbits in the garden....
Comrades in Arms
Some photos of Jamie and Bonnie as they join Otto and his Elven comrades.
Flying High
October 5th is Balloons Around the World Day, so I put together a small 'hot air balloon' so Avery and Emily could go flying high above the countryside....
the New Recruit
I caught the tiny Elf Army going through military exercises at the Ruins a while back.
It looked like they were working on welcoming their new recruit...
...and everyone becoming familiar with each other....
Military Exercises
Since they were there, the little elf army decided to go through their marching exercises at the Ruins with their new recruit...
Otto was fitting in nicely...
Saphira held their banners....
