Goodbye Butterflies!
When I was packing any props I thought might come in useful on a trip up north, I took along my 'feather Monarch butterflies' and butterfly nets, thinking that might be a fun activity. But that was before I had the experience of seeing so many real ones. There were hundreds of monarch butterflies. I've never seen so many in one place in all my life.
So I decided butterflies deserved more respect than to be chased with nets, so gave up that idea. Instead, I had Willie and Winston wishing them 'Bon Voyage' on their migration to Mexico, and combining them with the photos I took of the real butterflies.....
