A New Wig for Grace

I decided to make a hard cap wig for Grace. She had taken Rosie's Ellowynne Rose wig, and although the colour was perfect, the synthetic wig was far too 'fly away'. So I made a wig using some old mohair locks....

A Friend for Jude

I had been considering Grace as a lady friend for Jude, which is the reason I made her a new wig. Her red Ellowynne Rose wig just didn't look right. I did take a few photos of them together....

A Coronation Gown

I was thinking of tackling the beginning and end of the story I shot almost ten years ago. The main character, Aeran, was going to need a gown for her coronation. I went through my boxes of fabrics and chose some, but the fabrics didn't drape very well. It was exhausting to even think about making an elaborate gown just for a few photos. So I thought I'd try the gold FID gown no one was wearing. It took me a month to bead, back when I made it, and then it seemed too fancy for everyday wear, so has been stored away in a box ever since.

Now, Aeran is not the same size as an FID. She's shorter, slimmer, and is nowhere near as well endowed up front. But I was surprised the gown wasn't nearly as big on her as I'd imagined, and she looked really good in it, so I took some photos...

It will need some strategic pinning to make the fit look perfect, but it saves me a lot of work.

So Aeran has her coronation gown, for whenever she will need it....

A Celtic Maiden

I decided to make Grace one of my 'Celtic Maiden' costumes, so she'd fit with Jude's Braveheart. I had ordered some chain mail from China but it hadn't arrived yet, so would get added later....

I thought it would be nice to give them a family, as I already had two smaller Fantasy costumes, very similar to Jude and Grace's. I chose Bonnie from among my 'orphan' BIDs, but there were no spare KID boys, so Milo will stand in until one arrives....

Back Together

With Grace having run off with Jude, and Rosie getting her original red wig back, she and Baron ended up back together again...

Cousins

My Nami is finally back in her own Medieval gown. For the past months she had been borrowing Judith's dress in order to play Princess Elora in my Christmas Story. Judith hadn't even had a chance to try her own dress on until now.....

I also switched out Judith's eyes for one size smaller...

I hadn't done much with her since she arrived. Her dark hair and darker eyes have minimized the blushing on her nose, and she looks beautiful in the dress I made specially for her. She looks so much nicer now.

Jude's Family

Jude's Swords

His dagger was forged from a nail by Mason Leggee, and he'd been borrowing MacBeth's aluminum sword up until I made him a sword of his own. It has a hardwood blade, with Apoxie Sculpt handle over a wire base, embellished with silver beads, metal filagree, and leather wrapping....
