Sunrise in Arches
After spending the night in a campground down in Moab, we were back up in Arches
nice and early the next morning. We stopped at 'Park Avenue' for a quick picture....

The light from the low angle of the sun set the massive rock towers ablaze in bright oranges and reds.
We made our way through the other-worldly landscape towards the Windows section....

There were already crowds of people on the trails, and I was tired, so I just
took some doll pictures from the parking lot. First some shots of Milo....

Passing Through Canyonlands
The gang made their way through the beautiful red, weathered rock formations of southern Utah,
being careful to avoid all the large, spreading mats of cacti with all their sharp spines....

The cactus had long nasty spines, and as hard as he tried to avoid them, Winston got one imbedded in his finger....
.....and it really hurt.....
Holly pulled out the spine, and bandaged up his finger, as well as a second spine stuck in his tail..
"There, now it should feel a lot better."
And they continued on their way...
