Cats
Thirty years ago my sister and I did a photo story entitled 'the White Cat'. We made all the main character dolls, which included several cats. I kept the Prince and Princess as well as five of the cat characters. A few years ago, I remade the costumes of the Prince and Princess, to fit two of my ball-jointed dolls instead. Then early this spring I was inspired to do a sequel to the story.
This album is for all the cat photos which I took just for fun, and that were not intended to become part of the story....

Three Originals
Three of my five original cat characters....
In the Tavern
I had an unfinished cat that my sister had made in one of her workshops, and decided to finish him as a cat version of the Prince...
After having taken photos in a Tavern setting, I thought I'd just have some fun with my cat characters in it.
I removed all the cats off of their bases. Thankfully I didn't use glue much 25 years ago, so it was easy to remove them all. The cats have cloth bodies over wire armatures, so are quite posable.

An Unlikely Guest
One day Kassia had tea with her feline counterpart. They are both technically the same person, so would normally never get to meet, but on my dining room table anything is possible....
The white cat was made some 30 years ago. Named 'Blanchette', she was a beautiful princess who, along with her entire court, had been transformed into cats by an evil spell....
I didn't much care for the human version of Blanchette - she was one of our earliest dolls - so I removed her gown and reworked it to fit an Iplehouse JID a few years back. Then I ordered Kassia specifically to wear it....
So now I need to decide if I will rename the white cat 'Kassia', or leave her as 'Blanchette'.
In the meantime they are comparing notes on what it's like being married to Prince Adrian.
A New Cat
I finally finished the new cat my friend sent me. She had been given a blank cat that still had just it's original wire body, and she offered it to me. So after it arrived, I decided it would become a maid or lady-in-waiting, and I painted her...
I needed her outfit to be similar to something one of my MSD size dolls wear, so that I'll have an option of having a human and cat version of the same character in the upcoming story. So I chose to copy one of Bianca's Outlander outfits, since that would fit on a JID lady as well as the FID it was made for......
I decided to call her 'Lucy', after the friend who sent her to me. She will be the castle housekeeper, doing all the running and fetching, all the organizing, as well as being the Queen's personal maid, and helping out in the kitchen. So, one very busy kitty....
Checking Inventory
Taken as an instalment in the 'Toilet Paper Chronicles' series, it had Lucy doing an inventory check....
With a little help....
..sorting and counting....
Making sure they'll have enough...
