the Dress Shop Window

Baron made his way through the streets of Victorian London, looking for a haberdashery selling sewing and dressmaking supplies.

And soon came across one....

...and right there in the front window was a sewing machine....

It might just be exactly what he was looking for...

The shop keeper had noticed him in the window....

So he thought he'd go in and ask her about it.

I always love your stores and store windows. There is so much to see. I am trying to remember if that is the sewing machine that you made.

I love that window unit. It makes for such great photos.

Yes, I made that sewing machine. It was quite a while ago, and was for this story, which I had originally intended to post a couple of months ago. But stuff gets in the way.

Baron is an elegant looking gentleman in whatever time he happens to be in. It's not surprising the shop keeper had noticed him outside her window!

I love all the little details in the shop, and I love the window. Being able to use it from either side is a wonderful feature and adds so much to any story where you use it.

Yes, I thought he looked very elegant dressed like that, and I love the photos of him from inside the shop looking into the window from outside.

The window isn't exactly two-sided. Only one side is finished, so I have to pick it up and switch it around for the exterior shots.
